Perhaps that 747 might be able to zoom through but, in almost 
40 years, I've never had a problem.

My computer background started at Tandy in 1982 and the only thing 
I really sold back then was the Model 16/6000, running Xenix. In fact, 
I knew UNIX (and TrsDos) before I knew DOS.

After that, I became both a 4GEN & SCO Var so I'm familiar with that world too.

And I'm still a little bent at "Small Computer" for never improving 
their menu program.

I'm more of a "Jack of All Trades" than a super tech like you Mark,
but Filepro on SuSe have been very easy to maintain and support.
 
I've never been a purist or a "Sizzle" seller, I just like things that work,
and, for me, that's been SuSe & Filepro.

Mark, I do value your opinion, and while it may be dumb, I still stand by what
I think about SuSe & Filepro.

Yes, let's run a system whose security you can fly a 747 Jumbo through.
That seems wise.

SuSE's life-cycle is rubbish, and has been for over five years.  There's
a reason I -dropped- OpenSuSE for CentOS, and it has everything to do
with life-cycle vs practical corporate enterprise requirements.

Also, SuSE has been engineered like crap since 9.0 Pro, which was the
last good version they made...like 15+ years back.
