seeking advice on installing filepro on linux mint 18.3

For CentOS, it's compat-libtermcap as of CentOS 7.  If it's 32-bit, that
won't actually work because CentOS or Red Hat screwed up.  I had to roll a
custom one for 32-bit.

That package doesn't exist on CentOS 8...at all, for any bit-width.  One
would need to lift the C7 SRPM and build it on C8.  Not difficult, if you
know what needs doing.

As far as mint, no clue what package manager they use; I've never touched
mint in my life.  Never needed to.
