seeking advice on installing filepro on linux mint 18.3

Hi Experts - seeking advise on installing filepro (version 5.0.14D4 ) on 
linux mint 18.3. the install fails saying it needs libtermacp.so.2.

now for Centos 6.9 i have found the following works:

# yum install libxml2.i686#  yum install libstdc++.so.6# yum install 
compat-libtermcap.i686# yum install unixODBC unixODBC-devel libtool-ltdl 
libtool-ltdl-devel

# ln -s /usr/lib/libodbc.so.2 /usr/lib/libodbc.so.1

but yum does not work for linux mint.

any suggestions how to proceed ?
