s/personal attacks/observations/

Fixed.

And "" is about all you could legitimately say, given what you've publicly
demonstrated in terms of lack of systems knowledge. You possibly could
go so far as, "You have some valid points, I'll keep those in mind" but I
wouldn't want you to strain yourself. :)

You're mistaken in thinking it's personal. I'd say the same things to
anyone who didn't understand the system-level architecture enough to
recognise their own proposed RAM utilisation outcomes. It's not at all
personal past the point where you personally don't know systems very well.

Learn the underlying systems well enough not to display what amounts to
sheer ignorance, and I'll have nothing at all negative to say, because
you'd have the facts on your side.

That you choose to focus on my lack of sugar-coating instead of the
underlying, helpful technical education is your problem, not mine. I'm
simply not the sugar-coating type. Never have been.

Believe me, I've taken my own share of beatings and shutdowns over the
years when I've displayed my own ignorance. The difference is that I chose
to learn from those experiences, while you simply get defensive.
