You are the typical know nothing but have read a couple of books type
people. You are constantly making an effort to let the world know what
you "think you know" ... Frankly, I could not care less for whatever it
is you think you can measure up/down to.

So you can do some basic OS Admin ... good for you! So you wrote
OneGate, nice work! So you wrote a, what else was that?

For some one that has never developed an application nor maintained one
inside out, you really talk as if you have. I have never administered
an "Enterprise Platform" or Cluster of servers where a 100K+ people beat
it day in and day out.

I can, however, say that I have maintained hobby like systems where 2K+
users could be on line at once with 400+ offices around the world.
Funny thing is that even without knowing, I managed to do what only
elite such as you can or should do. Goes to show that you do not need
to be a genius. I think we had fp-Tech compile a special binary for us,
do not remember why (possibly due to user base volume). The very
company for which this "not enterprise level" application was developed,
was sold for about $160M - This company had gone from $15M to about
$120M a year in about 8 years and the "hobby like software" was given a
lot of credit to its rapid growth.

I am not one to brag but not agreeing with you is hardly "ignorance".
Yes, every man reaches his level of incompetence and God knows I've been
there more than once in my life time. Most recently over the past 72
hours in matters addressed in this thread ... ;-)

Now, I'm gonna open a bottle of Scotch and have a drink! You go ahead
and open a bottle of whatever you drink and have one yourself!!!
