There was some printer that used XOFF for some print code (such as 
"underscore on").  Worked fine most of the time, except when hooked up as a 
local printer on a serial terminal.  (I remember many years ago when sCC 
tech support got a call wondering why filePro would hang at the same point 
in a report.)
