EMERGENCY PROBLEM: Starting filePro

I am sorry for delay in responding back. Now answering phone calls
and emails from some 140 exhibitors looking for their lead retrieval
data file.
VERY GLAD TO HEAR FILEPRO AND VISTA AND 64 bit okay. Narrows problem
down - to me probably.
I have /fp and /file pro directories in c:/
I can get the standard filePro menu up when I run 'P' from within
c:/fp. But after I choose a file name from say function B or D then I
get the memory error and am told dclerk and/or dreport have stopped
running.
I have a .bat file in the /fp directory which has all the 'set'
variables to c . But when I run that all I get is a flash on the
screen like the filePro window is trying to come up but just flashes
and goes off. No error message.
If you all can bring yourself to thinking silly and stupid you will be
at my level and the problem will be solved easily. Things haves
worked so well over the years I am a long way away from setting the
program up.
I very much appreciate all the help -- and so will my wife when she
gets home if I can solve this before then.
