screen flicker problem

I'm guessing this is an issue with screen stuff since they can reduce the
window size (not resolution) and eliminate the problem. At least that's
what I'm told.
Dosen't matter. I'm due to go onsite in a couple of weeks so maybe I can
figure something out.
