Ken,
The first thing that is run is a login program executed from a batch file.
Once the user has been verified, the primary menu is called. This program
seems to run fairly quickly.
Once a menu is selected and an option taken, the program are slow to load
and very slow to exit back to the menu.
As I replied to Ernie, they just turned off Norton AV and fp is running
faster. I had previously asked them about any AV program they might be
running and was always told that this wasn't the cause. Apparently it is.
They are contacting their system people about reconfiguring Norton to ignore
filePro.
