filepro & 64 bit os

My client called me early this evening with the solution to his problem.
As Ernie advised and other suggested, the culprit was Norton anti-virus.
The is apparently a setting to scan all writes to network drives. Once this
setting was turned off, filepro ran normally.
This, for the most part, is not a problem as they have other protections in
place to monitor both incoming and outgoing traffic.
Hope this may help some of you to configure Norton Av at client sites where
they are having problems without having to disable it completely.
