:) Sorry - I don't know what that refers to either :):)  I meant is the 
index that you say is built across two fields built where it is 
built on one field for the length of the two fields, or is it 
built on two fields, each against its full length?  I checked dxmaint 
help - I guess I'm supposed to call those thingys index *sort levels*.
