Printing a file with print codes in it

I think that's right. A USB port is a very different animal from a 
parallel port. For one thing, a USB port can connect to many different 
kinds of devices, possibly simultaneously.

(As an aside, note that a USB-to-serial adapter always comes with a 
driver, which causes it to be a particular COMx port.)

So the question remains: can you copy a printfile to \\server\sharename? 
Can you do it if it's connected to the current PC? I'm away from my USB 
printers right now. Note that this could vary by printer.
