Printing a file with print codes in it

Yes, that's how I do it quite often.  I send the output to a file,
and then "copy /b filename.prn \\server\printer".

Yes, at least on XP and 2000.  I believe that 9x/Me could as well,
though you couldn't NET USE a local share.

On a side note, at least under XP, you can NET USE something other
than a simple "\\server\sharename".  You can also NET USE a full
path, such as "\\server\sharename\path\on\shared\drive".
