Wrong!.... the question *really* is:
Why did *you*, an obvious irritant, send *this* note into *my* *inbox*?
You read a clearly listed OT: message and then had the audacity and
obnoxiousness to complain about it being in your inbox. It went nowhere near
your inbox. It only went to the fp mailing list, properly notated so that
you had no need of even reading it. You do so anyway, then send to *my*
personal *inbox* an insulting and stupid message.
Unlike you, *I* am using all the proper terminology. Probably because I am
such an expert, huh? No, it's really because you are so completely clueless
as to the operations and conventions of this mailing list, whereas, I have
taken the 2 minutes it takes to learn, and then adhere to those precepts.
This must be above your talents, though how strange, you call yourself a
Systems/Web Administrator. :-) Pretty funny. (Carrol County Ohio must have
a dearth of qualified people running systems and webs.)
Since you decided to take such a completely unwarranted attack on me out of
the blue, I figured it best to let the mailing list see the kind of bulsh*t
usually sent out by the truly uninformed. In future, don't read messages
marked OT:, and never, never send anything to my personal inbox if all you
want to do is make nasty comments. Finally, please don't send HTML to me or
the list. Another thing you would know, if only you were a *good*
Systems/Web Administrator.
And since you made the snide and nasty comment about my expertise... I don't
usually take swings at pitches in the dirt... but... let me just state for
the record. It is my 30 years of studying personal computing and writing
about, plus my 20 years of programming in filePro for multi-user systems
that qualifies me as an expert... and if that isn't enough, try year after
year of outstanding achievements for the filePro community at large. You may
call me, with great derision, a "self proclaimed" expert... but as with your
other clear inadequacies regarding even the mildly technical, I wouldn't
expect you to stand on performance and track record when making your inane
estimations of other people. And incidentally, since I have *never* even
heard of you, it kind of begs the question as to whether *you* have
distinguished *yourself* in any way in this field. Thanks for your oh so
kind and generous piece of garbage in my inbox... please don't do it again.
