Possible to run FP on a Synology Server?

Seth, the Synology operating system (DiskStationManager) is a scaled down,
locked down, customized version of Linux. I would be surprised if it had
enough libraries and tools to make a workable filePro install.
Untested, but *if* your Synology is powerful enough, and the model supports it,
you can install Virtual Machine Manager from Synology package store. Once
you get that running, you can install a Linux Virtual Machine, just about
any distro, and run filePro within that. Consider the CPU and Memory (the
latter of which is usually upgradable) that came with your model before
jumping down this route though, as the home/smb models are pretty light on
the specs.
