OT: To connect or not to connect, here is the question

It is your own personal or business computer. Other than legal reasons, no one has a right to access your private data and IP, or install any monitoring software.
If they’re that concerned about security, (which they should be) they need to provide the hardware, software, etc. This is a reasonable expectation of any company.
I’ve always been provided with hardware, and no one has ever asked for access to my private machines.
