Printing using win:network-share-name...

Hi John, Bob Rasmussen here.

You're following multiple rabbit holes that are all dead ends, with the
printer model you purchased (HP MFP M234DWE). It doesn't support PCL-5 and
it doesn't support PDF, according to HP's webpage at

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-mfp-m232e-m237e-printer-series/38099931/model/36120178/document/c06953407#AbT2

See also a question related to yours, and an answer (note the answerer
says "interrupt" when he means "interpret") at:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjghYuN68T7AhV9LzQIHZDsBIkQFnoECAgQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fh30434.www3.hp.com%2Ft5%2FLaserJet-Printing%2FPCLms-Supports-PCL5-commands%2Ftd-p%2F6253366&usg=AOvVaw2biMtzoT3-9lWzDYSCE4nb

The only ways I could see using this printer for printing PCL output would
involve some software piece on Windows that would use a Windows printer
driver to talk to the printer. Print Wizard would be one option for that
software, but I would not recommend it for your situation.

Find an available printer that can accept and interpret PCL-5.

(For an emergency solution, you could run a printfile through a PCL-to-PDF
converter, move the PDF to a Windows machine, and use a program on Windows
to print the PDF.)

Sorry about your injury with the door.
