Printing using win:network-share-name...

Can anyone refresh my memory about how to use this feature of filePro? I
would think I have to "share" the printer on the Windows side, and then list
it as a network printer on the SCO side... Then, wouldn't it send the
document (a PDF) to the Windows printer/queue to wait its turn to use the
actual Windows driver? Since that prints PDFs fine, I'm thinking that might
work...

But, I don't remember the quirks, or gotcha's on using the win:sharename
destination in the filePro print manager. Nancy wrote something that
mentioned it a while back, but it is lost in the world's worst email filing
system ever conceived... if I even saved it. I don't think it had much
other than mentioning the idea for using a brain-dead Windows PCL6 type
printer.

Is there something in the HELP file about it? Wait let me check...

Wow! It is fun to read the 6.x Help file... I learned about 5 things I had
never seen before. However, mostly the help covered the PRINTER commands
available on a prc table.

I didn't catch anything about win:sharename

And in case someone does know about using this destination. Can I just say
something like win:DEFAULT and it will print through the queue for the
Windows default printer whatever it is named or shared as?

Thanks again...
