Odd FilePRO Question

I am at a loss too, not sure if I understand ... lol

To answer your question: No, I have never faced "Chinese" 
symbols/characters but, multilingual "YES"

The way I solved it was to setup DB Tables where I listed all phrases in 
US English, then allowed users to translate these phrases to any 
language they wish, set the language they want to use and BANG! fully 
translated application.

It took some work, but hey, they wanted their UIs in various languages 
so they did what they had to and I was happy with that.


Now, are your "prospective" customers looking to print "the entire form" 
or just "product code, product desc"?  or are they just looking to
print some "slogan" or a "call for action" sort of thing on the form?

Because filePro may not be able to store these symbols in its native DB, 
you may want to look at XML or JSON files to associate your SKU to an 
entry on these and extract the object as you need to.

Of course, creating the XML/JSON documents is a challenge you will need 
your prospective customer to help you with or - google the hell out of 
and translate every word/phrase but be prepared for more problems if you 
follow the google path ...

Now, assuming that you get passed the English to Chinese (whatever 
variant or dialect), you will now need to see how to print these but I 
cannot imagine you would run into much of a problem with this, I mean, 
after all, I am sure that Chinese businesses are printing tons of forms 
themselves.  ;-)
