Ascii characters on a screen

I thought that Microsoft might have removed this ability from Windows 10,
so I tried it. It still works.

I am away from home at the moment, so I can't try it out in filePro....

You can edit filePro help files with any text editor you want. I was able
to add funkey characters via Wordpad. Hold down the ALT key and then type a
three digit code.

What codes are you trying to add to the file? How are you trying to edit
the help file? Add weird characters to a filePro screen? What is the goal
here? What version of Windows? What version of filePro? A few more details
would really help.
