Jeff,
I would post that the manual is very clear on what version a technique
or command was added, so you should not have issues there. I recommend
the on-line manual from their web site as the best place to check out
commands.
I would also print out the menus that are used in his software. Use the
menu info as an index to the files and processes that are running.
I teach my customers to give me the menu keystrokes to get to a
particular options when they are asking for help. Then I can check the
menu to see what file and processing is running.
FYI for ALL - Just an aside on reports, I started adding the keystroke
sequence on all in-house reports in the upper right hand corner, it
saved time and it really helped my customers when they had a paper copy
of a report and forgot how they ran it. So it might have R17 which
means they would hit R 1 7 to get the report to start.
