The only other thing I can think of is to build a keyboard "macro" that
you can run. It should be pretty easy to create one that presses the "F8"
and other keys. Then just multiply it 120 times with the name of the
filePro database embedded in the proper spot.

If you start by creating a text file with all the filePro database
names, it should be fairly easy to insert the keys in front of and behind
the database names.

Side note: Back in the days when some of my customers had to
direct-dial from Green Bay to a computer in Chicago on a telephone line that
cost about $50.00 an hour, I built a lot of filepro scripts that created
keyboard macros from the data we entered on our screens. Rather than having
to keep a phone line open most of the day, I could dial up, run those macros
and input all of our data into the filePro screens in Chicago in 15 minutes,
saving us over $400.00 a day in phone line time. We all were fascinated
watching the macros run, "typing in" hundreds of characters a minute into
the filePro screens. As I recall, I had to insert some "no-op" characters
so that the macros didn't overrun the ability of filePro to keep up with the
speed of the macros. I sure wish I had a video of that all happening, but
the 1980's were way before cell phone camera were invented...

Hi

Yes that way I know, I was hoping for a shortcut as there are 120 files
inside of this system
