5.0.14 - freechain?

I used to blame it on solar activity back in the day, because there was no reason other it did seem to happen more often when there was known issues with sunspot levels.
IIRC what you are seeing is the correct behavior, however when it hangs when running in the background, *that* is the interesting bit. Everyone out of the system and a manual run of freechain with full backups and a way to fix broken key/data offset points. Don't miss those days.
I see that we are in a solar activity lull so my wives tale is of no use https://spaceweatherarchive.com/2019/04/10/experts-predict-the-solar-cycle/

Subject: 5.0.14 - freechain?
We've started seeing the freechain command popping up in atop and top for a specific filePro file. It runs at 100% of a CPU core worth of usage for multiple seconds, then exits. It's doing this regularly.
What is likely causing it to run, and how do we rectify whatever is going on? We've not really seen this before a day ago, and we have been monitoring this system for ages.
Thanks!
