OT: setting up mail on Centos 7 server

Look in your sendmail.cf for the Fw directive, edit the file it points to,
remove your main domain from that file, and restart sendmail.

Also make sure Dj is -not- set to that domain.  

Either would cause the behaviour you're describing.

The only place it's safe to spoof that value in your situation would be DM.
Even then, you'll need RDNS set up to make it work properly at receiving
sites.
