Margins settings PCL commands for modern printers

Please explain. Was the fix made by hooking the printer up via network 
instead of USB, as you suggest? Or was the fix made by changing the 
lines-per-page setting using the front panel of the printer? Or, possibly, 
using the web server interface of the printer to change its lines-per-page 
configuration?
