Thanks everyone, ended up being the lines on the printer. I was working remote and the printer was connected usb. I had to get a hands on person to add to the network to make that change. Thanks again.

Try using this as print code 3 - "initialize printer";
$1b & l 0 O $1b ( 10 U ^O *$1b &l7.27C*
This should print 66 lines per page in a normal 60 line area for a laser
printer.
