Encryption options on Define Files and Encode/Decpde

Encryption works well on a file. The issue with the encryption is that if you have lookups to a file that is encrypted, the program asks for the password - encryption key each time filePro tries to access that file. That means that id one has multiple lookups to various files, each time that file is hit, the program asks for the password. You can stop auto processing from asking multiple times by using the function which checks if the file is encrypted. There seems to be no way to either by pass the password or program in the password so the user is not prompted for it.
I have not gotten a clear answer to how the encryption key works.
Edit allowed license list allow you to edit programs written on another system. You would use this on your system to allow you to install and edit programs developed on a client's system. Currently I have the licenses installed for all of my clients who have development licenses.
What this does not do is stop a program from running. You just can't edit a program written on your system on another computer with filePro development installed with a different license or vise-versa.
As for the rest of your questions, I have not worked with these as yet so have no comment other than I agree that the documentation is very weak or sparse. I think it is assumed (bad word) we have a level of knowledge which many of us don't have.
