Android tablet terminal emulator for filePro on Linux

Try ConnectBot. I can't remember if I've used fP with it. Probably, but
can't 100% remember any longer. I know I have used it in general, many
times. That was my primary before moving to BTEP.
I -know- Better Terminal Emulator Pro (BTEP) worked well with filePro in
most versions, but you can't (legally, legitimately, safely) get it any
longer. If you want to roll your dice with one of the many APK downloads
of it which are apparently available, have fun with that.
I've not used an Android terminal emulator in years. Those were the best
two I found back in the days of the Galaxy Tab 8.9. (The original, not the
Tab 2 or later.) Once I got my iPad for Hearthstone, and the gaming
laptop, and my Galaxy Note 2014 Edition battery issues ticked me off, I
kind of stopped using Android tablets, myself.
Unless you're getting something with a physical keyboard, or are going to
limit yourself to the top third of the screen in dscreen, I wouldn't even
go with tablets. They'll -suck- for data entry purposes, especially with
an onscreen keyboard. I have an ASUS tablet with Windows for an
application, and it has a keyboard which plugs into it. That's -better-,
but not really ideal due to the physical manipulation/placement of tablet
and keyboard. It's a folding/attached keyboard as big as the tablet, and
plugged into it on one side. They fold together. Great tablet, no
complaints, high quality, but it's awkward.
I'd personally rather go with cheap-ass netbooks available for sub-$300,
and use PuTTY, problem solved. Not sure how much of an issue the camera
bit is, but I have to believe there's something that's better than the
awkwardness and horrible UX of a tablet for any serious data entry.
