Android tablet terminal emulator for filePro on Linux

One of my filePro customers (fairly current filePro version running on
Red Hat 7) has about a half-dozen Windows 7 computers scattered around their
shop that they use for production data entry. These computers run the Anzio
terminal emulation program to connect back to the Linux box via a hardwired
network. No other Windows apps run on these computers; they are strictly
used for filePro data entry.

My customer wants to start printing a barcode with an order number on
the page. They asked me to look for a smaller tablet-style computer that
has a barcode reader built into it. They also want to increase the number
of workstations, so that when the order is complete, the operator at each
machine can simply scan the barcode in to indicate that the order is
complete.

I've looked at ruggedized tablet computers that run Windows 10 Pro, but
they cost anywhere from about $1,200.00 to $2,000.00. I can buy ruggedized
Android tablets for well under $500.00.

The catch is finding a terminal emulator that will run on an Android
tablet and that works reasonably well with filePro. It's been several years
since I looked into Android terminal emulators. The last time I looked, I
didn't find any that worked very well.

In this case I don't need all the function keys to work. I just need a
reasonably formatted filePro screen to appear on the tablet and a few keys
to work, like the key that will record a screen and the key that will exit
the user out of the record.

What are your suggestions as far as Android terminal emulators that
work at least minimally well with filePro?

Thanks!

Mike Schwartz
