Print issue

First, an aside on mail list protocols. Your original post attempted to
forward or include a previous email from a client. The list server
scrubbed that, but made it linkable as a file named "winmail.dat" as type
"application/ms-tnef", which means, loosely, "attached email message".

I was able to download from the link, open it in a free utility named
"Winmail opener" (https://www.eolsoft.com/freeware/winmail_opener/), and
see its multipart contents. One of the parts was a PDF file containing a
scan, showing the original problem.

Takeaways for list users:

1) Be aware when you're forwarding or attaching in posts to the filepro
list;
2) It is possible to download and open those scrubbed attachments, as
above, depending on MIME type and file extension.

Now to the original issue. The first part of the document in question
(PCL-5 data going to a PCL-capable printer) printed in a smaller font than
desired (also in Times Roman, but it was supposed to be Times Roman). This
looks like a case of inadequate PCL initialization. Probably the printcode
entry used did not correctly initialize all elements of the font selection
sequence.

It's also likely that the job level initialization code was either not
used or was incomplete. In either case, variations in output can be caused
by settings left in place, in the printer, by the last job printed. In
some cases settings are dependent on the settings made at the front panel
of the printer.

As far as I know, there has been no change in the printer table used as the contracts printed prior to those printed on 07/13/18 on printed correctly. The date differential has to do with what he had available to send me.
