filepro 4.8 running on windows 7

On my Surface Pro 4, I have not had a problem with running both its screen and my 27" monitor. The resolution is fine for locally run programs. The issue is still the resolution on the remote monitor. It is apparently setting to the native resolution of the Surface Pro and is too small to be useful.

I need to see if there is a way to have RDP set the resolution of the remote session to something useful similar to the way GoToMyPC or Logmein does.
