Apologies...

So, Ken... I believe I owe you an apology. Having discussed the entire
file spec issue with a party I respect, as well having discussed my
reactions to it, it appears I went a bit overboard. I still stand by the
principles regarding website design and that the specs should be feely
available; that much hasn't changed.
However, yours was the first "official" (quasi-semi-"official", I know...)
response, and I apparently read more into it than I should have done.
Coming on the heels of a couple of bad weeks in which I've been dealing
a lot of issues, I was already suffering from a bit of a short fuse,
especially as far as vendors go. You caught the brunt of that over an
attitude which I (probably incorrectly) inferred. For that, I am sorry.
You didn't really deserve to catch a virtual barrel and a half right off
the bat. Sorry, man. Really.
And to everyone else who had the dubious "pleasure" of witnessing said
outburst, I apologise. Nobody really needed to bear witness to that. I
apologise to all of you for my outburst this week.
Have a great holiday weekend!
