running filepro 5.0.14D4 & filepro 5.8 on the same computer?

Just point PFPROG to the version of filePro you want to run.  As long as you 
don't try 5.0 on a file which has post-5.0 features, or attempt to use both 
5.0 and 5.8 on the same file at the same time, there should be no problem. 
(Note that trying to use both versions on the same file at the same time 
will give you a lockfile error, rather than letting "bad things" happen.)
