Didn't Word Star use the ctrl-s key for something?
This wouldn't work well on a serial connection where that's XOFF
and tells the computer to stop sending.
As I remember, the TRS-Model 12/16 keyboard had function keys
around the numeric keypad, one of which sent ctrl-s (probably
something from Scripsit).
