zero records printing problem

I have a need to print a report and if no records are selected print 
something like None Selected.

I've tried doing do so with @wgt but that does not get processed.

I tried with @done.  That gets process but does not print.  I've even 
added the print command
inside the @done process but still nothing prints.

Reading the manual, @done get processed after all printing is done.

How do I get a report out of this saying "None Selected"?
