OT: Running filePro Output problem

This is an interesting problem that occurred prior to my going on vacation.

FilePro 5.7 Windows, Server 2008, Window 7 or 8.1 on laptop.

A client called to advise that he was having problems running the Credit Card processing program.  This is a program that has worked for almost 5 years.

Records are selected for processing (in this case 10).  An XML file is created and transmitted encrypted.  Mark Luljak wrote the interface which worked perfectly.

Mark and I both checked and found that the transaction was send and a reply received.  Neither of us could see why there was a problem as the program worked perfectly from other computers.

My client finally told me that he had installed a password saving program the night before he tried to run he cards.  Once he deleted that program, everything worked properly.

I have no idea why this program caused a problem, but it did.  

So, if you run into a similar problem, remember to ask what new software has been installed on the client machine as well as the server.
