You can download a demo version of the software.  It offers a lot more than just the ability to create PDF files and print them.

You may want to consider the server version which allow you to create windows service to monitor a folder where a filepro print job is sent and then converts it to a pdf and prints it.

You could set up different services to do different things with the output.  I do this at one of my client sites.  One folder converts the *.txt filePro output to a PFS and prints it.  The other folder service just creates the pfd.

This is transparent to the user and adds a lot of functionality that filePro, even with the new option of creating pdf's directly doesn't have.
