Easiest way to print to pdf

I use a program called txt2pdf.
I print the form to a file (sans print codes) with a .txt extnsion and then
convert the txt file to pdf.  Works great.

I'm running server 2003 R2, soon to be going to server 2008 and filepro
version 5.0.09DN9. My invoices are simple text documents and I was thinking
it could be as easy as just installing a pdf printer and pointing the output
to that printer but it doesn't seem to work quite like that, nothing
happens. 

Since I see some discussion about pdf files going on I figured it might be a
good time to ask this question.
