Lockfile Problem??

Running 5.0.14DN9 on Windows 7 Professional.
Did not find anything about lock files on filePro web site.
Did request to download a demo of current version so I can see if this bug fixed
in current version.
Also want to do research to see if we will run into other problems if we
upgrade.
I know a little about the licensing problems, but no first had experience with
them.

what OS, What version of filePro?
Have youcchecked the latest readme files on the fptech websites for
any lockfile bugs fixed in newer versions?
