New server--update

I wrote earlier about looking for a new server and a few people have 
contacted me about it.  I have an update with regards to our 
requirements based on some research and the fact that my boss just 
bought a slightly older HP Proliant server.

The server is a Proliant ML350 G6 with 2 processors and 8 cores. Far 
more horsepower than we need for a simple fileserver and also more than 
enough if we wanted to migrate to Filepro on Linux.  I'll probably need 
to add memory and drives.

So now we are looking for help in setting up the server as a Linux/Samba 
fileserver and domain controller for our network.  I was looking to use 
Centos 6 on the server.
