rcleck just stopped worked

Well it's morning and my head must be clearer now.  When I got to work I checked and the file rclerk.exe (1101 KB 12/14/2006) was gone.  Fortunately, I had a back up copy of fp on another server.  I just copied the file over and all is working.

I don't think some one deleted the file but I am looking at Kaspersky, our anti-virus software.  Although we have had it installed for over 5 years, it does at times get to aggressive it what it feels is a bad file.

Thanks for all those who responded.

You check, after the error started occurring, from the workstation that was getting the error?

It's either there, or it's not.  The error 2 is "file not found".

Well, if someone/something deleted rclerk.exe, then that's what would happen.

That just means that someone/something might have deleted it in that 10 minute window.

Given that dclerk still runs, I don't expect it to be a mapping issue.  I expect it to be "someone/something deleted rclerk.exe".
