filePro 5.7.3 installation needs libodbc.so.1 on SCO Openserver 6

    This afternoon  I attempted to install filePro 5.7.3 on a SCO Openserver
6 system, but the install failed with link libodbc.so.1 errors.   I've tried
to Google things like "SCO unixodbc" and "openserver libodbc" and several
similar combinations. but I don't see any easy way to get  libodbc.so.1
installed.  

 

     I have put maintenance Pack 4 and whatever other SCO patches that I
thought were useful to have on the SCO Openserver 6 system.   

 

     Any suggestions about what I need to install or do to fix this?

 

     There seems to be a lot of information concerning installing unixodbc
on Linux systems by using RPM's.  I did have a lot of trouble installing
5.7.0 on a Red Hat Linux system this spring.  After installing every RPM
that I could find that mentioned libodbc on that box, I was finally able to
get filepro 5.7 to install.
