System call & rreport stops working

I have a program which writes a batch file with communication commands to send and then receive back xml files.  The batch file is created correctly and runs.  The return xml file is created.  At this point the system call should end and processing returns to my filepro application.  The return xml file is created and then a warning message from Windows pops up stating the rreport has stopped working.

I had placed a message box at the return point but it never runs.

Has anyone seen this problem or can offer some suggestions as to what may be causing this.

Windows 7 Pro

The program running this was tested and worked properly during testing.  The only difference is the url's being transmitted to.  The log file created shows the communication was opened, the file sent, and a response received and the time it took for this roundtrip.

I have  similar program running with no problems.  The only difference is the communication program.
