* PCL 5e is a superset of PCL3. It'll work.
* I believe HP uses "Postscript emulation" because they don't actually use
or license Adobe's code.
* Your email came across saying "directPDF", but there's actually a space
in there, on their webpage. In that case, it means that you can send a PDF
directly to the printer.
* All three of these, along with PCL6, refer to support for when you're
sending data in that format directly from the computer to the printer,
such as when Linux sends via netcat, or when filePro prints.
By the way, I find it amusing that HP still includes only 128 MEGAbytes of
memory in their printers. Can you even get chips that small? I suppose so.
