Ken:

I had a new client who reported a Dell 5330DN (monochrome laser) ghosting issue last year.  I contacted Dell, who felt it was a fuser issue as well.  I was surprised when they offered to replace it for free, apparently this printer came with a two year warranty.  That solved the problem.
