Subject: Re: filePro .NET & grids
The reason I was looking at tying .NET and grids in to filePro directly (or
at least partially) is I much prefer using fp than SQL. This is due with my
experience level writing in fp versus writing code in SQL.
[Walter D Vaughan Jr]
I must write 20 to a 100 SQL queries a day and I NEVER write them by hand.
I always use SQL Server Management Studio and right click on "Views" ->
Create new view.
I ALWAYS build in the view mode.
About 70% of the time I will cut and paste the SQL into a New Query box and
execute there because I can copy with headers and paste into Excel with
headers in place.
Yeah if I lost the ability to create queries without the visual view tool I
would be about 1% productive.
