filePro .NET & grids

We are doing this using fP for Windows.  We created an OLE provider for
filepro that lets you treat fP data almost like any other data source (e.g.,
SQL, Oracle, etc).  The provider is read-only (read/write is
experimental--we just haven't had much use).  

In short, the provider does the following:
1) accepts connection including a SQL-format query (e.g., "Select * from
custfile where status='A' order by cust_date"
2) executes an ad-hoc query using fPSQL
3) returns the data to the client.  

#3 could be done as a recordset (classic ASP or asp.net) or a "grid" in
.NET.

Since things have been a little slow on this list, I'd like to open a new
thread.  Although this may be a short one if not possible.
 
I would assume this is mainly directed to those who work on filePro on
Windows platforms.
 
Question 1.  Does anyone know if it is possible to use Microsoft's .NET
framework with filePro?  Has anyone attented this yet?
 
Question 2. Has anyone tried to incorporate 'grids' with filePro?  Did you
do this directly or via Ajax?
