F10 problem - window

A client called with a problem.  He is running Window7, filepro 4.5.  I have
not updated any of his programs since 2001.

When entering order and he has to add an item to a master file, the program
creates the basic information and then does a popup update for him to add
the rest of the production information.  F10 is pressed to save the record.
For the last 2 month pressing F10 was not saving the record.

I logged  into his computer using LogMeIn and had not problems saving the
record when F10 is pressed.  However, F10 does work when not in an popup
update mode on his computer.

He is using a wireless keyboard and replaced the batteries recently.  As the
keyboard appears to be working without a problem for everything else. Does
anyone have a suggestion as to what may be the problem.
