fp and Remote Access

Afternoon all,
 
fpODBC 5.0.15R9  16 user.  Workstations Win7 with (XP virtual) - servers Win2003
 
We are in the process of moving from Chicago to our new plant in Franklin Park.
 
This move will be over a 4 - 6 week period with shipping an dassembly first, then office staff, engineering and finally mfg.
 
During this period some of my fp users will be at the new location while the rest of us and the servers will be at the old.
 
Is there anything I should be aware of when having users use fp with remote access via VPN?
 
We are not real concerned with security.  This question has more to do with normal operations.
 
Thank you.  We would like to hear about any suggestions or past problems.
