      Just be thankful you're not on a school district helpdesk system or
you would have help tickets like this, just from this week :

     "My phone is not working."  Begs:  Cell phone or desk phone?  (school
district provides both...)  Which room?  (this teacher teaches in several
rooms).  

     "I don't think Microsoft Office is installed correctly on my computer."
Network records and "call home" software show computer has not been turned
on, or at least not connected to the Internet at any location, since last
April 27th.

     And this one takes the cake for this week, but we still have 1 day
left:

     "My computer is still not working.  It hasn't worked since school
started."  Sent a tech to her school.  He notices desk and computer are
moved to a different corner of the room that does not have network jacks and
power plugs.  Cords are all neatly wrapped around monitor base.  Asked
teacher how she expected that the computer would work without plugging it
in.  Response:  Well, I thought you guys installed wireless throughout the
whole school this summer!

     (Yes, these actually happened!)
